I had an adventure before 2012 ended. I went to Malaysia to visit LegoLand.
I just traveled by land. Took the bus (CW3/CW4) at Jurong East Bus Interchange. The traffic jam was horrible. The bottleneck was at the Singapore immigration/customs. After passing through the immigration, I took the same bus going to Malaysia. Again, traffic was a pain in the neck and almost everyone in the bus were anxious. I guess, most of us were going to Legoland and trying to catch the 10:30AM bus. It was already 10:20AM and we were still on the road, caught in a jam just before the Malaysia customs/immigration.
Upon reaching the immigration building, everyone were almost running toward the counters to have their passports stamped. I was one of them.
I missed the bus. If I wanted to take the same bus, I have to wait for another 2 hours. That’ll be a waste of time so I asked around if there’s another bus I could take to Legoland. Fortunately, there is still one more bus which will be passing by Legoland. I took it and I was again, faced by another problem. My Ringgit bills were all in 50′s and I have to pay 2RM only for the bus ride. I have to pay the exact amount. At this moment, I felt like I was in that amazing race show. I have to ask everyone in the bus for a change. I have to go around the terminal to look for a change as well. I was running out of time because the bus will be leaving soon. The smallest change I got was in denomination of 10RM notes. I had no choice. I paid 10RM for a supposedly 2RM bus fare. Goodbye 8RM.
Finally, I reached LegoLand. I was starving but I just have to take that first photo at the entrance before looking for a place to eat.
I’m here! Yay!

LegoLand has a MiniLand where they recreated known landmarks in Asia. Here are a few of them:

Singapore

Forbidden City and the Great Wall of Chin

Angkor Wat, Cambodia

Wat Arun, Thailand

Bolinao, Philippines

The Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur

The Taj Mahal, India
I used my iPhone 4 to take the photos. I have a lot more photos to share but it’ll be like leaving you with nothing to look for if I posted them all.
The place is amazing! Kids will surely enjoy most of the activities here.
Special thanks to S. :)
